Job DescriptionUnder the direction of a licensed therapist, assists in delivering patient care in the rehabilitation setting as described in State of Maryland Practice Acts. Performs routine tasks to help ensure productive therapy sessions such as maintaining treatment areas, preparing patients for therapy, and assisting in clerical tasks. Prepares and maintains treatment areas and equipment to adhere to appropriate infection control standards, as well as maintains logs to assure compliance.Assists the licensed clinicians in the delivery of patient care as permitted by State of Maryland Practice Acts.Assists in the training of new rehabilitation technicians.
