DescriptionSummary:The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating schedules and/or surgical add-on scheduling requests for same-day and next-day add-on procedures. The Senior Scheduler will work closely with Specialty Team Leaders/ Charge Nurses and Perioperative Nursing. The objective is to facilitate efficiency in the utilization of clinical staff and coordination of scheduled surgeries and add-on surgeries throughout the day in a customer-friendly manner. The Senior Scheduler will enter patient flow data throughout the day to maintain the EPIC board, multi-task the entire shift, answering phones, coordinate with physician offices, Preop, and PACU staff, and ensuring effective communication throughout the department.Responsibilities:
