DescriptionThe LPTA monitors effectiveness of the treatment plan, and recommends needed changes. The LPTA serves as a liaison between the patient and the Interdisciplinary Team. The LPTA and nursing staff work as a team in association with the patient's attending physician, patient's Physical Therapist, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide timely, safe, and cost effective therapy.  These tasks are carried out according to hospital policy, hospital mission, Performance Improvement plan and the policies of Physical Therapy Services.
