The role you’ll contribute:
Perform specific tasks or routines supportive to delivery of patient care. Will perform clerical duties related to computers, dialysis equipment and supply checks. Responsible for the inventory and ordering of supplies, equipment and services needed to support the efficient operation of the dialysis team. Responsible for staffing, schedules and the coordination of patient treatments within the hospital.

Assists staff in the delivery of patient care: assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Assists staff in effective time utilization.
Mentors and coaches team members to manage patient needs.
Assess, evaluate and provide care for patients related to blood pressure and weight changes or other physical conditions, access
Prepares daily shift assignments, which distributes personnel equitably and appropriately to match the needs of patients with skill of nursing staff
Complete nursing notes after every dialysis treatment.
Clean and dress access sites and other wounds in close proximity to the access site that may potentially contaminate the access using appropriate aseptic techniques.
Initiate and perform appropriate emergency procedures.
Participates in patient and family teaching as needed regarding dialysis treatment and renal dietary recommendations.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an ASN upon hire
Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience in acute inpatient dialysis upon hire
Active FL RN license
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
