Summary:

The Department of Surgery at WMCHealth is seeking an experienced clinical and academic surgeon at the for Integrated Wound Care Section for MidHudson Regional Hospital as well as providing services at our Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley in Kingston, NY. Qualifications: The successful candidate will be board certified in General Surgery or Plastic Surgery with special interest and experience in integrated and multidisciplinary management of wound care, including hyperbaric experience and certification. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate research and academic interest and productivity. The Wound Care Section encompasses a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high quality healthcare in and academic and community hospital setting. The Wound Care team consists of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other supportive services who work together to provide the best possible care in a state-of-the-art wound care center, and includes participation of vascular, general, plastic, orthopedic, and podiatry surgeons. The candidate will have an academic appointment with the New York Medical College, commensurate with qualifications.
