Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assists (RNFA) at Newton Medical Center. We are seeking per diem candidates (can be a new grad RNFA) who would like to be on-call (can be at home-within 30 minutes of hospital or in on-call room at the hospital-you choose) one weekend per month - 48 hours and flexibility for a weekday shift. Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Will assist with surgical cases including orthopedics and general surgery.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Valid New Jersey Nursing License
Certificate from an accredited RNFA program required
BLS/ACLS certification required
1 year of previous expereince is a plus
