Abrazo Scottsdale Campus (located at AZ-51 and Bell Road in Phoenix) is a 136-bed full-service acute care community-based hospital which has provided excellent comprehensive medical care to patients in the northeastern region of metro Phoenix for more than 30 years. Abrazo Scottsdale Campus provides specialized services such as an accredited chest pain center, wound care and hyperbaric (high pressure) medicine, advanced orthopedics featuring navigational technology and sports medicine, expanded rehabilitation services, enhanced diagnostic imaging, and dedicated womenâ��s programs.
Department Administrator overseeing both Central and Scottsdale Campuses. Establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards and objectives. Directs and supervises staff as well as workflow. Position has budgetary or fiscal accountability. Plans, develops, organizes, directs and controls operation of the Medical Staff Services Department to accomplish functions and goals of the medical staff and the hospital. May be assigned as the HIPAA Officer of the hospital. Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, and approving supply orders.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements.
Five years experience in healthcare provider credentialing or medical staff services management with three years supervisory experience required.
Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
Ability to organize and professionally manage demanding workload. Possess effective professional business written and verbal communication skills. Requires independent problem solving and decision making abilities. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
