Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of surgical/1st assist orthopedic experience; clinic experience is also preferred. Candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Physician Assistant will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Weekday Call: As needed
2 days a week of Surgery; number of cases may vary per week
Experience working with Sports Medicine Orthopedics and Hand Surgeon is preferred
With outreach to FPN Center Grove Family Medicine at Stones Crossing
Average outpatient volume: 20 – 24 patients per day
Average inpatient volume: 6 – 8
Common Diagnoses:
Fractures (all types)
Soft tissue injuries (Ligament, Tendon, and Meniscus Injuries)
Arthritis (Hip, Knee, Shoulder)
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
Pain (Hand, Knee, Foot, Elbow, Shoulder, Hip)
Up-to-date technologies and state-of-the-art surgical equipment
