Texas Rehabilitation Hospital is a 66 bed Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), located in the medical district of Fort Worth, TX. We offer specialized treatment programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury. Our rehabilitation programs are centered around the individual needs of each patient to improve health, function and quality of life.
Our facility is Medicare certified, accredited by The Joint Commission (www.jointcommission.org), and accredited by CARF - The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (www.carf.org) for our Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation Program, our Adult Inpatient Stroke Specialty Program, and our Adult Inpatient Brain Injury Specialty Program.
The Nurse Manager (NM) functions under the direction and supervision of the Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) and assumes responsibility for the Nursing Department. The NM in collaboration with the DPCS and leadership team assists to implement, interpret and assure compliance with policies and procedures including regulatory and accreditation standards. The NM directly supervises the charge nurses and clinical supervisors. The NM is responsible for implementing hospital goals and objectives based on budget parameters. The NM reinforces the mission and vision of the hospital in all interactions.
*Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state. Bachelors required preferred.
*Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
